Music has always been more than just sound to me—it’s been the heartbeat of my life. My journey started when I was a child, captivated by watching my dad play music. He wasn’t just playing notes; he was pouring out his emotions, creating something meaningful. Those moments ignited a spark in me, and I wanted to create that same magic. My dad taught me the basics, showing me how to navigate this vast world of melodies. From there, I took the reins, teaching myself and immersing in the endless possibilities music offered.

One of my earliest and most unforgettable moments was playing my very first song flawlessly. The pride and joy I felt in that moment solidified my love for music. By the time I was 10, I was performing in school concerts, feeling the thrill of sharing my creations with an audience. Music became my sanctuary, my way of expressing everything I couldn’t put into words.

Growing up, I surrounded myself with music-loving friends and was inspired by incredible musicians—both close to home and on the global stage. My dad was my first influence, but over the years, school friends, Sri Lankan artists, and international icons like Hans Zimmer, Tommee Profitt, Guns N’ Roses, Metallica, and Nightwish shaped my musical identity. They showed me the depth and versatility of music, teaching me to push boundaries and dream bigger.

Challenges and Growth

My journey hasn’t been without challenges. When I first started, I lacked the resources to create professional-quality music. Buying equipment, recording tools, and software felt like distant dreams. On top of that, I constantly wrestled with self-doubt, questioning if I was good enough. But through every struggle, I learned the most important lesson of my life: if you want something, you have to push yourself harder than you ever thought possible.

Those lessons shaped who I am today. I’m proud of how far I’ve come—not just in terms of skill, but in building a mindset that keeps me moving forward.

Passion for Music

Music isn’t just a career for me; it’s a part of who I am. Every day, there’s a voice inside me urging me to create, to express, and to tell stories through sound. It’s my way of connecting with people and the world. I believe music has a unique power—it transcends language, culture, and barriers, speaking directly to the heart.

When I compose, I start with a blank slate. Sitting down at my DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) or playing an instrument, I let the music flow naturally. Whether I’m working on cinematic pieces, epic trailer scores, fantasy-inspired soundscapes, or modern orchestral tracks, I pour everything I have into each project. It’s an emotional process that helps me bring every story to life.

Inspiration and Style

I draw inspiration from so many places—musicians like Hans Zimmer and Tommee Profitt, films like Arcane, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Harry Potter, and even games like Assassin’s Creed and Call of Duty. But it’s not just art that influences me. My own life experiences—moments of joy, heartbreak, and even loss—find their way into my compositions.

One piece that means a lot to me is “Reflections”. It captures my emotions after losing everything—being far from my family and facing unimaginable sadness. Despite the pain, the music became a way to heal, to turn vulnerability into strength. I believe that’s the true power of music—it connects us to something deeper.

Vision for the Future

Looking ahead, I see myself carving out a unique identity as a composer. My dream is to collaborate with incredible artists like NF, Aurora, and Lady Gaga and contribute to major projects like Call of Duty, Netflix films, or sci-fi fantasy soundtracks.

But more than anything, I want my music to inspire others. I want it to show people that even in the toughest times, there’s beauty and strength to be found. Building a brand, making a living from my passion, and creating music that leaves a lasting impact—these are the dreams I’m working toward every day.
